To create a tropical bedroom that feels like an indoor oasis, there are several ways to incorporate the theme and transform the look of the room with a few steps. Although the most traditional way of creating a tropical bedroom is to infuse it with palm tree prints and decor, there are more modern ways of setting the design for a contemporary style that looks sophisticated.

Use a canopy bed to naturally incorporate the tropical theme and create a stunning display that can work
as the focal point in the room. Consider hanging a sheer piece of white fabric on the top of the awning of the bed for a natural addition that is tranquil. You can then add tropical bedding that displays a large banana leaf print or palm trees on the fabric. The dramatic style of the print will immediately set the tone in the room and will allow the space to look like an oasis that feels like paradise.

You can also add a bamboo valence or roman shades as an effective window treatment that will create a tropical theme with the use of the natural material. Bamboo rugs or floor mats can also be used for a feature that will complement the shades and match accordingly.

With the bedding that you choose, add sheets that have a neutral shade for a product that complements the bold tropical print and sets the style of an outdoor environment that is appropriately used indoors.
